2. Eligibility and Registration

3. Manuscript and Chapter Submission

Authors submitting manuscripts, chapters, books, or other academic material confirm that:

The submitted work is original or appropriately authorized.
All third-party material has been properly cited and, where required, permission has been obtained.
The submission does not knowingly infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights.

The same material is not subject to conflicting publication rights elsewhere.

Cerebral Link may conduct editorial, plagiarism, formatting, technical, or other quality checks before publication.

4. Editorial and Publication Decisions

Submission, registration, booking, or payment does not automatically guarantee acceptance or publication unless a specific service agreement expressly provides otherwise.

Cerebral Link may request revisions, corrections, supporting documentation, declarations, or additional information before processing or publishing academic content.

5. DOI and Digital Publication Services

Where DOI registration is included in a purchased publishing package, Cerebral Link will process DOI-related services subject to the requirements and availability of the relevant DOI registration infrastructure or registration agency.

A DOI does not by itself constitute evidence of indexing, peer-review status, research quality, journal impact, or inclusion in any particular bibliographic database.

6. Indexing Disclaimer

Cerebral Link may assist with publication metadata, discoverability, and submission or eligibility processes for academic databases. However, indexing in Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, PubMed, DOAJ, or any other independent database or third-party platform cannot be guaranteed unless expressly stated and actually controlled by Cerebral Link.

Final indexing, inclusion, continuation, removal, and coverage decisions remain entirely with the respective third-party database or indexing organization.

7. Academic Writing and Editorial Assistance

Where writing, editing, proofreading, formatting, research assistance, or content-development services are offered, users remain responsible for reviewing and approving the final work before publication or submission.

Users must ensure that use of such assistance complies with the academic integrity, authorship, disclosure, institutional, university, journal, and professional rules applicable to them.

Cerebral Link does not authorize academic misconduct, fabricated research, false authorship, plagiarism, or misrepresentation of academic work.

8. Fees and Payments

Fees for publishing, chapter booking, editing, writing assistance, DOI services, author copies, or other services will be displayed on the Website, invoice, quotation, or applicable communication.

Users are responsible for verifying the service description and charges before making payment.

Applicable taxes, payment gateway charges, shipping charges, or additional services may be charged separately where applicable.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

Refund eligibility depends upon the stage at which cancellation is requested.

Once substantial editorial work, writing, formatting, design, DOI processing, printing, publication, or other customized services have commenced, the corresponding service charges may be non-refundable.

Where a refund is approved, applicable deductions for work already completed, payment gateway charges, taxes, administrative expenses, or third-party costs may be made to the extent permitted by law.

Any specific refund policy displayed at the time of purchase will form part of these Terms.

10. Author Copies and Delivery

Where an author copy is included in a publishing package, delivery is subject to printing schedules, availability, courier services, and the accuracy of the delivery information supplied by the author.

International delivery, additional copies, or expedited shipping may involve additional charges.

11. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, authors retain rights in their original content subject to any publishing licence, copyright transfer, distribution agreement, or other agreement accepted for the relevant publication.

The Cerebral Link name, website design, logos, graphics, proprietary material, database structure, and other platform content belonging to Cerebral Publication Private Limited may not be copied, reproduced, commercially exploited, or misused without authorization.

Cerebral Link may take appropriate action where plagiarism, fabricated data, duplicate publication, manipulated research, fraudulent authorship, copyright infringement, unethical research, or other serious publication misconduct is identified.
